Presider: God is the source of every grace and blessing. With confidence, then, let us offer our petitions through our Risen Lord to the Father

Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, hear our prayer”

 

1. That Pope Francis is welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven with loud choruses of alleluia, we pray...

2. That the conclave gathering to pay respects to Pope Francis and to elect his successor will be guided in their discussions and voting by the Holy Spirit, we pray...

3. That Bishop _______ will lead the diocese to a greater participation in our liturgies, in our prayer life, and in education into the way of the Kingdom of God, we pray...

4. That members of our community who are suffering from physical or mental illness may experience the loving care of our Risen Lord through first responders and medical professionals and Psychologists and Psychiatrists, we pray...

5. That those baptized and received into full union in our parish community this Easter season are welcomed and encouraged to participate in parish life, we pray...

6. Welcome into the Kingdom of God, Lord, those who died this week (list here), we pray...

7. we pray..., Lord for the intention (s) of this Mass (name the intention), Lord, we pray...

8. We pause now to offer our intentions of hand, mind, and heart. (pause) Accept these as gifts on the altar with our support for the ministries of this parish, we pray...

 

Presider: Look with kindness and mercy, Lord, upon your people. May we attain in our flesh the incorruptible glory of the Resurrection through Christ our risen Brother.
