Presider: We know God loves us as we love the Word. With confidence and hope now let us offer our petitions to our Father. Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “God, hear our prayer”

3. Lord, bless and inspire clergy, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay leadership to be attentive to the directions of Pope Leo and their bishops in leading the People of God to full participation in the church especially in liturgy, we pray...
4. Lord, inspire the laity to be mindful of those living in poverty and provide a hand up to a more secure and social life for people on the margins of society, we pray...
5. Lord, light the fire of love and respect in the hearts and minds of first responders, health care professionals, and administrators of physical and mental health facilities, we pray... 6. Lord, enflame the hearts and minds of politicians to seek the common good of every person and just peace in wars, we pray....

Presider: Father, listen attentively to these petitions offered through the Incarnated Word. Enflame our hearts with love for family, neighbors, citizens of our nation and the world. We ask this in the name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit who lives and reigns with you now and forever.
