PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

4th SUNDAY OF LENT

March 15, 2026

1. For truth and peace in the world you so love that You, our Father sent your Son, the Savior of the world, to be with us - now - in these times... We pray to the Lord.

2. For renewed determination to seek God’s peace in countries where civil wars, insurgency, drugs, interstate wars and gang violence threaten the world God so Loved that Jesus was sent to show us the Way... We pray to the Lord.

3. We pray especially for solutions to end deepening war in Iran & the Middle East, in Ukraine, in Africa, in Asia, in the Americas; raise us all up with deeper resolve to make peace, Lord... We pray to the Lord.

4. For the Church in Your world, Lord, give us the courage to follow what we hear and what You teach us in Your Word, Lord... We pray to the Lord.

5. Help our world’s leaders understand and commit more deeply to the two fold Love of God and neighbor without separation as You command, Lord... We pray to the Lord.

6. For a deeper commitment of the leadership in the US to serve the people of this country and Your world, Lord... We pray to the Lord.

7. Give us courage to follow Your witness and Your teaching in these times... We pray to the Lord.

8. Show us, as citizens of Your world, how to share with others the Love of our God in these troubled times... We pray to the Lord.
