September 7, 2025

Presider:  God, through-out all centuries, has led humanity into greater and greater relationship with us. With faith in God’s abiding presence let us with confidence in God’s mercy offer our needs and concerns to God.

Deacon/ Lector/ Cantor: Please respond: “Lord, Hear our prayer”

5. That politicians overcome by their discipleship in the Lord the blind partisanship and work for the common good with truth and integrity, we pray...

6. That the homeless and those declining into homelessness are provided affordable housing supported by developers commissioners, and political leadership, we pray...

7. That those suffering from domestic violence, financial, sexual, and gossip abuse be graced with courage to seek help and the endurance to continue efforts at building a new life, we pray...

Presider: Father, Creator and Sustainer of life, accept into your will these our needs. We know these petitions cannot include all the crosses in the hearts of your faithful gathered here. We ask you in the name of your Son, the Lord, to reach into our hearts and heal the brokenness there. We ask this in the name of your Son through the Spirit we pray....

Response: Amen.
