General Intercessions Twenty Sixth Sunday of Ordered Time September 29, 2024 Presider: As we prepare to give thanks for the Wisdom and accompaniment the Lord gives us, let us bring to our Father the concerns and sufferings of the world.

3. That the faithful include all persons, despite discrimination by reason of race, gender, creed, national origin, or political party. May we celebrate others, recognizing that each person is a unique creation of God, we pray...

Presider: Gracious Father, you sent your Son to become human so that we might learn from him how to love one another and all creation. Help us serve others with respect, kindness and merciful love. May whoever abuses others by bullying, sexual aggression, economic destruction, or social scapegoating be corrected in their sin. Give us, Lord, the courage and wisdom to protect those in danger. We ask this of you in the name of your Son who is Lord now and forever.
