CELEBRANT: God of wonder, your Son promised us a share in your heavenly kingdom. Attend to the prayer of the people who cherish that promise. Show us how to wait and live each day in hope of the second coming of Jesus Christ, through whom we make our prayer and who is Lord forever and ever.
