Presider: Father, we know that prayer unites us to you and that you answer our prayers. We know as well that your answers are your choice for us and are for our welfare. Help us turn our hearts to your Will. Grant us your peace through our efforts for prayer. We ask this in the name of your Son, our Brother Jesus who lives with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, now and forever.
