Mini reflections on the Sunday scripture readings designed
for persons on the run. "Faith Book" is also brief enough to
be posted in the Sunday parish bulletins people take home.
today’s Colossians reading:
the image of the invisible God,
first born of all creation.
"Location, location, location" – the gospel shows us that
all through his life and right up to his death, Christ has
taken a place with the suffering, poor, sick, the defeated
and the outcast who cry out to God. Christ is "the image of
the invisible God," and has shown that his rule is from our
location – from the midst of us.
we ask ourselves:
in the midst of the world do you discover Christ?
have you responded to Christ the King in that place?
